The objects of the Western Nova Scotia Draft Horse Association are as follows :
To promote horse pulling,showing.plowing and other horse related events as spectator sports.
To assists county Exhibitions,Fairs,or Field days in presenting the above activities to the best of their ability.
To keep teamsters and owners informed of events and assist them to present a good show.
To make suggestions to exhibitions or fair officials regarding rules and regulations for the betterment of the sport.
To endeavour to find sponsors to assist in increasing prize money to the participants in order that they may receive a fair remuneration for the expense involved in presenting a top class team at any show enter.
To acquire by way of grant,gift,purchase,bequest,devise,or otherwise, real and personal property and to use and apply such property to the realization of the objects of the society.
To buy,own,hold ,lease ,mortgage. sell and convey such real and personal property as may be necessary or desirable in carrying out of the objects of the society
